  Mark McKenzie

 

Mark became interested in the Food Industry at an early age while being raised on a horse and cattle ranch and working in his Aunt and Uncle’s restaurant and later in his Parent’s restaurant.

 

Mark graduated from Concordia University with a BS degree in Business Management and Communications, with a minor in Economics.

 

Mark's career has always been in food, from his family owned restaurants, to high-end restaurants in San Francisco, to owning his own catering business, working for The Department of Defense. Mark worked 21 years with an industry leading outsource company, in Acute Care, Colleges and Universities and in 1992 accepted a position managing one of the largest CCRC’s on the West Coast.  For 13years Mark was a District Manager and over saw 21 communities, which included a system of 10 communities. Prior to opening Complete Dining Management Solutions Mark was the Vice President of Dining Services, for the 10th largest long term care system in the US market, where he developed and implemented a successful strategy for improving resident satisfaction and reducing costs. While in his role Mark was responsible for opening the dining program at, The Clare, a 53 story vertical CCRC in the heart of downtown Chicago.

 

Mark formed Complete Dining Management Solutions to provide proven one of a kind options and solutions to increase food quality, cost controls, program enhancements, leadership, training and improve resident satisfaction to the long term care industry. Mark's intention is to change the industry by offering consulting services, support on a monthly or daily basis, assistance in dining program software evaluation and implementation, provide a partnership with the most aggressive GPO in the industry and improve the lives of as many residents as possible by utilizing the complete wheel approach and utilize his talents as well as proven systems and technology.

 

Mark knows first hand the residents are someone’s Grandparents or Parents, and wants to help communities provide the best food and life possible. It really is all about the food.
